Positive Thoughts

This is my first time using this stamp set. To me it is a very delicate, feminine stamp set so I have used soft pastel colours and am so happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it too.

The base card is Highland Heather. The front panel is white card.

Using an anti static embossing pad wipe the front of your white card front. This helps the powder to only stick where you want it to. Stamp the flower from Positive Thoughts stamp set randomly over the white card front with Versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Using a blender brush or sponge, colour each flower with Highland Heather ink. Sponge the rest of the card with Balmy Blue ink. Once dry wipe the card front with a dry tissue to remove any excess ink on the flowers.

Stamp the fern stamp with Old Olive ink onto white card once at full strength and then without re-inking the stamp, stamp again to get a lighter image. Die cut both these out with Nature’s Thoughts dies.

Stamp the butterfly with Black Memento ink onto white card and colour using Light and Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. Die cut out the butterfly image.

Stamp the sentiment with Highland Heather ink onto Highland Heather card. Punch out using the Everyday Label punch. Place the punched out image onto a post-it note so that it sticks and re-punch to give the shorter shape. Using a sponge dauber sponge the edge with Highland Heather ink.

Wrap some Highland Heather Organza ribbon around the front card panel and adhere to the back using tape. Adhere the card front to the card base.

Using the large dimensionals adhere the sentiment to the front of the card. Use the small dimensionals to adhere both fern die cuts to the card front by tucking them behind the sentiment. Adhere the butterfly to the card front using dimensionals.

All products used except anti static embossing pad are Stampin’ Up!®

Happy Stamping 🙂
